The condition of our immediate relationship with our nature and habitat, including all things that shape our historic memory of our homeland - such as the weather, temperature, humidity, vegetation, wind, soil and climate - create an emotional aspect to our being and our consciousness of the environment.
In this definition, climate takes a meaningful relation with emotions as we are faced with a condition where the geographic memory acquires a poetic and imaginary element associating our emotional existence with our being and presence in the world, eventually reaching a monolithic totality interpreted as love for the land that we belong to.

One could say that perhaps this is how the history of landscape art has been formed and how there has always been an effort to create that imagery.

Every painting is an attempt to immortalize that condition and to keep it from the leech of annihilation. With the arrival of spring, the lust for life awakens in all plants but, at the same time, we witness their short life span and the flight of time.

To ponder upon this disintegration and disappearance is the purest experience of sorrow and the very instant of our encounter with the phenomenon of beauty - the situation that shapes the aesthetics of destruction.

The moment of destruction subdues and enchants us because it contains strains of truth and the reason for our urge and desire to witness the past and the passing of time.

This is a deceptive woeful condition but also a seductive continuation of mankind’s desire for immortality.
